Lycia’s clinical practice is grounded in theory and methodologies informed by the latest evidence-base and she works in adherence with the NICE Guidelines. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Behavioural Couples Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Systemic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion-Focussed Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Behaviour Support and Mindfulness. Her wide-ranging training means she is well-placed to deliver a highly adaptable and flexible therapeutic approach that can be tailored to the individual and to their particular goals to deliver effective results.

Lycia offers short, medium and long-term therapy and is experienced in dealing with clients of all ages and diverse cultures who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health including Adjustment Disorder, Agoraphobia, Complex Trauma, Couple Difficulties,Depression, Family/Parenting Difficulties, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Grief and Bereavement, Health Anxiety, Insomnia, Low Self-Esteem, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Self-Harm, Social Anxiety Disorder and Specific Phobias. Lycia works with dual diagnosis such as managing any of the above difficulties alongside for example a diagnosis of ADHD/ASD.

Lycia also offers consultations for parents to help them support their children through difficulties they may be experiencing such as mood difficulties, stress, disordered sleep, selective eating, friendship issues etc.
